just another w.e.d.n.e.s.d.a.y. afternoon -open-

Long pillars extended lazily over the hard packed terrain. The chocolate palomino mare walked ever so slowly into the new and foreign land that she might now call somewhat home. She had been wandering for days, weeks, or even months. She hadn’t paid enough attention to know for sure how long she had been wandering alone, not coming across anyone. Her vocals might even be rusty for she not having talked to anyone in quite a while.

Her light brown orbs watched over the lands as she entered. She wasn’t much for interaction, she preferred to keep to herself. She wasn’t even the slightest bit upset about it either. She had roamed the lands for a good six years now. It wasn’t like she was new at this anymore. Her parents were just a low level in the herd, her father a protector and her mother a caregiver, she was nothing more special than that. She couldn’t even say more. She was a plain old jane that wasn’t good for anything at all.

Wednesday walked at a slow pace. The air around her was damp from the early morning rain. The sun shone bright in the early afternoon. The birds chirping, the buds on the trees starting to form. She could tell that it was going to be a good spring, and would most likely be a hot summer. She was totally okay with that. She loved the heat, and the smell of the spring air in her nostrils made her beg for more. For now it would do, maybe not always, but it was fine for now.
