`one
The minimum word count for any in-character post is 200 words.
You will note that a sample post is higher, at 300 words. The aim of this is to stretch you a little, so that maintaining the minimum in-character wordcount is more achievable by comparison.

Do not dictate how someone else's character is going to respond to your character's actions in your post.
You may suggest how others have normally responded, or how your own character would, but be aware of the difference between your character's assumptions, and the actual response of the person you are role playing with.

Please state the name of the character you are playing at the top of each post

The leader of any given land may be either male or female.
If there is more than one leader, they are not required to be mated.

The leaders of the herd are the ultimate power in that land.
They are responsible for the well-being of their herd, including protection and welcoming new herd members.
Leaders are also able to delegate these responsibilities to ranked members of their herds.

In order to challenge a herd leader, you must be able to link to three different posts on DOTW with a wordcount greater than 400.
This is to ensure herd leaders - who are given responsibility and near-autonomy within the herd lands - are worthy of the title in the only way which counts in a role-play game.

The use of copyrighted materials - images, or posts copied from other individuals - will not be tolerated.
There are photomanipulation studios and individuals who are able to create images which match your character, and use only stock which is free to use for that purpose.
